Gender Equality

Sexism and misogny are still deeply rooted in the UK education system - from sexist language (two thirds of female students in sixth forms say they have experienced or witnessed sexist language) - to rigid, body-shaming (and racist) hair and uniform rules - to woefully uninformative sex education, not to mention persistently imbalanced gender representation in the school curriculum.

“I raise up my voice - not so I can shout but so that those without a voice can be heard...we cannot succeed when half of us are held back.”

— Malala Yousafzai

Are you aged 14-18 and passionate about campaigning for change in the education system?
