Not A Trend

Anti-racism is not a trend. Not A Trend is a youth-led (but all age-inclusive) campaign ensuring that the fight against racial injustice is not simply another hashtag. They will be joining with other activists, changemakers and organisations to form a decolonising taskforce to win change in schools, and ensure that meaningful anti-racism and anti-racist policies and approaches are not only possible, but a necessary part of a just education system. Starting with efforts to decolonise local schools by taking them through a programme of training, transformative policies and processes to embed within their institutions, the Not a Trend campaign plans to ensure racial equity is continuously fought for, not just when another ‘Justice for…’ hashtag is trending.
