Socioeconomic Justice

With students unable to obtain basic equipment and broadband amid the fallout from the pandemic, and private companies making huge profits supplying rotting food to families eligible for free school meals, the already significant gap in outcomes for young people in the UK is widening further, and the class divide remains staggering. As the state slowly devolves itself of responsibility over looking after families in poverty, leaving it up to teachers, charities and foodbanks, and footballers to hold the Government to account, the fight to support and stand with young people for dignity and equal opportunity has never been more important.
